His special interests are in:
Dr. Woollam has had a long association with triathlon and marathon. His interests in this context have revolved around lower extremity injuries, particularly knee, foot and ankle.
His ice hockey association works closely with shoulder and neck injuries as well as concussion.
Orthotic fitting has been a specialty for over 15 years. Dr. Woollam’s services and any required investigations (i.e., scans, x-ray, ultrasound and MRI) are all covered through the Ministry of Health.

- Lower extremity injuries.
- Foot problems and orthotic fitting.

attempt to bring you back to pre-injury status.
Dr. Woollam is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Medical School. He has practiced sports medicine since receiving his diploma in 1990 from the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine (www.casm-acms.org). CASM is the sports body from which medical staff of most of the national and international sporting games (including the Olympics) are selected. Membership provides a scientific and educational process to further advance the understanding of the sports injuries and their management.
Dr. Woollam has worked as a team physician to Triathlon Canada at the ITU World Championships in Cancun, as a team physician to the Toronto Roadrunners (AHL) as well as many local events. Currently, he is team physician to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors (www.stmichaelsmajors.com), Team Consultant the Oakville Blades, medical director of both the Toronto Marathon (www.torontomarathon.com) and the Mississauga Marathon (www.mississaugamarathon.com).
